Lucky 21 has added director Adam Littke to its roster for commercials and branded content in the U.S.
Littke’s directing career was formally launched when his music video for Grum caught the eye of David Lynch, followed by the win for Best Music Video at the Los Angeles Film Festival. Littke’s advertising debut as half of The General Assembly duo (with Adam Willis) gained inclusion into the Saatchi & Saatchi New Directors Showcase at Cannes in 2011. General Assembly worked together from 2007-2014. Littke then directed solo. Over the years he has collaborated with brands including Sony, HTC, American Airlines and Formula One. His directing work has appeared on NBC, BBC, Comedy Central, Fox, Bravo, Pitchfork and Lifetime. He’s become known for a directorial signature which artfully blends comedic performance by idiosyncratic characters with stylized art direction. Prior to joining Lucky 21, Littke had been handled by Equilateral.
“Adam is an impeccable talent whose work stays with you. It’s nuanced and distinct, compelling you to watch over and over,” said Lucky 21 EP Brandon Tapp.
Littke said he felt “an immediate kinship with everyone at Lucky 21. Their quality of experience is what you want in a production company, and they have that deep history and meticulous process.”
Littke’s creative vision is matched with a profound appreciation for the imprint of music on branding. This extends to his site-specific music curation for hotels, stores, and restaurants including The Adolphus, JOY, and Noelle. Having spent a decade in London and Los Angeles, Littke now resides in Dallas, where he and his wife own artisanal decor shop Set & Co.
