Don’t Look Up and CODA topped the feature film categories for Original Screenplay and Adapted Screenplay, respectively, during Sunday night’s (3/20) Writers Guild Awards. The virtual ceremony also honored Exposing Muybridge for best Documentary Screenplay.
On the television side, Succession won the Drama Series and Episodic Drama competitions (the latter for the “Retired Janitors of Idaho” episode) while Hacks took Guild honors in the Comedy Series and Drama Series categories. Episodic Comedy honors went to the “Alone At Last” installment of The Great. Mare of Easttown and Maid came up winners for Original Long Form and Adapted Long Form, respectively.
