Kevin Quinlan, a senior visual effects artist experienced in spots and broadcast graphics, has joined the creative team at New York-based design/visual effects studio Click 3x. He comes over from Charlex, New York, where he spent 10 years, contributing to such work as image packages for Nickelodeon and HBO, and commercials for the likes of Cingular, Reebok, America Online and M&Ms.
Quinlan began his career at Charlex in 1995. After serving as an assistant editor and junior Flame artist, he was promoted to senior Flame artist in ’99. More recently, he was functioning as a lead artist on several assignments for the studio.
At Click, Quinlan said he is looking forward to the opportunity “to steer projects from start to finish and to have a strong voice in their development and execution.” He will collaborate in that capacity with Click 3x creative director Peter Corbett on visual effects jobs. Jason Mayo is Click 3x’s executive producer.
