THE SPOTS
"Train" (:30) features a toy locomotive traveling past or through various model landscapes: a snowy mountaintop in Baden Baden, a glittering neon Tokyo, the Eiffel tower in Paris and the Statue of Liberty overlooking New York. City billboards are emblazoned with AT&T’s tag lines, "Possibilities: Boundless" and "Results: Measurable." The final scene shows the AT&T logo dressed up with mini-green forests, complete with trains running along the logo’s line of train tracks. In "Spool," coils of blue-white thread bullet around a glowing screen, eventually forming a perfect circle—the foundation for the AT&T logo—and then begin to rapidly unravel, twist and twirl around the logo. The :30 concludes with the AT&T logo costumed in an interlaced fabric of braided threads.
