International film and creative studio BUNKER has added director Albert Kodagolian to its roster for commercials and branded content in the U.S. His credits include the notable Budweiser Super Bowl spot “Journey” as well as storytelling for brands such as Sony Bravia, Nissan, MasterCard, PNC Bank and Levi’s. Kodagolian’s work has been recognized at award competitions including the D&AD’s, Clios, Kinsale, ADDY, Kodak/BAFTA and the AICP Show.
Kodagolian attended the University of Southern California where he developed his craft and premium look as a cinematographer on a number of independent feature films. Finding that short-form storytelling was a natural strength, he moved to London, learning from leading directors at RSA London. It was during his time in Europe that he honed in on his signature style of melding striking performances with thoughtful and precise storytelling.
His Moving On was shortlisted for Best European Short Film at the Edinburgh Film Festival and the Kodak/BAFTA awards and it was selected to be a part of the prestigious Britspotting tour representing British culture across Europe.
Somewhere Beautiful is Kodagolian’s first full length feature film. It premiered at the Sao Paulo International Film Festival in official competition, and won the Audience Choice Award at the Pomegranate Film Festival in Toronto.
Prior to joining BUNKER, Kodagolian was repped for spots by production house Interrogate.
