In a development meant to add long-term value for the company’s shareholders, Minneapolis-headquartered, publicly traded Broadview Media, which also has a Chicago facility, has named Dean Bachelor as chairman/CEO. Bachelor replaces Phillip Staden, who recently resigned from Broadview to pursue other opportunities.
Bachelor is the founder and managing partner of the Eden Prairie, Minn.-based Platinum Group, a management, consulting and merchant banking firm serving the Twin Cities. He has been a Broadview board member since 1998 and sits on a number of corporations’ boards.
In addition, Ken Ritterspach has been named president of Broadview, and will lead the day-to-day operations in both the Minneapolis and Chicago locations. He brings more than 25 years of sales, marketing and management experience to his new position.
