iSPOT returns to the political arena this week with an article on Sen. John McCain, who launched a channel on Veoh, the new video platform that we covered recently that is challenging YouTube with higher quality video content in a TV-like experience. As the presidential race heats up, another race may occur between the competing video sites. YouTube is the front runner now, but Veoh and other sites will challenge it with alternatives to the user-generated clips that generally run at YouTube.
This week’s iChat is with Alan Schulman, chief creative officer of Brand New World, a leading branding and creative agency. We covered the agency’s exciting campaign for Splenda last year, the long-form videos based on consumer interviews that catapulted artificially sweetened muffins into the advertising arena. In this week’s interview, Schulman discusses some of the agency’s latest work, which we’re excited to see.
We travel to a mental institution in Romania for our iSPOT of the Week. This you have to see!
Please keep us posted on news from your companies. We want to know about it to help keep our readers informed.
