THE SPOTS
Three spots illustrate the point that "You never know when DQ is gonna hit you with something new." In "Scream" (:30/:15), two boys leave their camp for a walk in the woods where they find themselves being chased by a monster. The boys come to a screeching halt when they run right into an oversized DQ logo. The ad features footage of DQ’s Oreo Scoopables treat. In "One on One" (:30/:15), two kids—one somewhat larger than the other—play a game of hoops. Eventually the shorter player outmaneuvers the tall guy and makes a break for the basket, only to smack into the DQ logo; the ad features the Cotton Candy Blizzard. And in "Skateboard" (:30/:15), a kid testing his skills in a skate park meets a similar logo fate to showcase the MySTIRy Misty Slush drink.
"One on One" began airing in April, "Skateboard" starting airing in May, and "Scream" broke in June.
