THE SPOTS
Four :30s (with :15 lifts) feature NFL stars and their moms, who make sure that everyone is eating right. In "Scrapyard," Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb and mom head to a construction site to feed a hungry worker with Campbell’s Chunky Sirloin Burger. Mom later tells her son to stop "playing" when he gets in the driver’s seat of a large vehicle at the site. "Subway" shows New York Giants linebacker Michael Strahan and his mom entering a subway car, where they feed Campbell’s Chunky Honey Roasted Ham & Potatoes soup to a passenger. When the duo exit the train, Strahan waves goodbye to the passenger through the window, as the "Watch the Gap" sign is shown inside the car; a reference to Strahan’s front teeth. In "Kindergarten," Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher and his mother visit a school, with a bowl of Campbell’s Chunky Herb Roasted Chicken for the teacher. Urlacher winds up playing "Duck, Duck, Goose" with the kids. And in "Bowling," Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jerome Bettis and mom take a trip to a bowling alley with Chunky Chicken Noodle soup for a bowler. As Bettis throws a frame, a young woman asks Bettis’ mother for his number. Mom replies, "36," referring to his football jersey number.
