A couple tends to gardening in their backyard as a narrator informs us they converted to solar energy in order to save baby dolphins around the world.
The woman corrects the voiceover, saying they went solar to save money. Her hubby affirms that it was the cold hard cash.
But what about the baby dolphins?
Well, that’s nice too says the woman but the main reason is the moolah.
The voiceover persists, pressing his case with the assumption that this lovely couple loves baby dolphins more than money.
The couple is silent, seemingly influenced by political correctness as an end tag relates the virtues of solar energy from Sunrun.
Mike Maguire of Biscuit Filmworks directed the three-spot campaign, including “Dolphin Babies,” for San Francisco-based agency Heat.
