Suddenly her mobile phone rings, she looks at the screen to see it’s her bank and she faints.
A group of handsome young men in business suits comes to her rescue.
A neighbor woman in her own garden witnesses this and then feigns fainting in hopes of getting the same service from a bank.
A slogan is supered on screen, which reads, “Determined to be different,” accompanied by a voiceover that relates, “Just another day in the garden.”
This whimsical offbeat, tongue-in-cheek spot for Commonwealth Bank of Australia was directed by noted feature filmmaker (Amelie, Delicatessan, The City of Lost Children) Jean-Pierre Jeunet via production house Grand Large for Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, San Francisco.

AD&Co. Launches Studio A; Davida Hall To Head New Venture As Sr. Director of Creative Content
Female-founded and led creative marketing agency AD&Co. has opened Studio A. The new venture will serve as AD&Co.โs in-house social brand content division, focused on developing and producing digital programming for advertising, social media, and influencer marketing campaigns designed to reach todayโs audiences on the most popular and pivotal platforms.
