Tabletop studio Canteen has signed beauty and cosmetics director Diana Borinato for her first U.S. representation. The Milan-based director continues to be repped in Italy by 360fx.
With a background in graphic design and art direction from NABA Milan, Borinato began her career as a director-DP at We Are Social for the agency’s food and beauty brands, including Sephora, Aperol, and Diego Dalla Palma. Since then, she’s been handled in Italy by 360fx focusing on its digital cosmetics clients, collaborating with brands such as Benefit, OPI and Rilastil. Borinato’s style takes inspiration from textures, colors, light, and 3D design to tell compelling new visual stories.
Canteen’s signing marks Canteen’s continued expansion into the cosmetics and beauty categories. “I’m excited to expand my horizons with Canteen’s support. I feel that the American visual language aligns with my style, and I look forward to evolving my technique further in this new market,” Borinato remarked.
Canteen founder and EP Elyse Sara noted, “Diana’s background in design, paired with her understanding and passion for cosmetics, positions her powerfully within our industry. With digital advertising comprising 34.1% (and growing) of the beauty industry’s total ad spend, talent like Diana is in rising demand.”
