    BAM Studios expands facility

    BAM Studios has wrapped a significant facility expansion. The company’s Studio C has expanded with a state-of-the-art recording booth, bringing the number of fully equipped postproduction suites at BAM up to three. BAM has also completed Studio D, a new well-appointed mixing suite.

    The new additions come at an exciting time for BAM, which has been experiencing a boom in film, television, and voiceover clients over the past year. The new room was designed by Chicago acoustic firm Threshold Acoustics and by architect Howard Kagan. Main construction of the new Studio C Booth was completed in August.

    Brian Reed, president of BAM Studios, said the new additions will enhance the way BAM does business. “Flexibility and movement throughout the facility has been a key for us when it comes to accommodating a wide variety of projects and clientele throughout the day”.  

    Executive producer Jess Fike added, “Having more studios allows us so much more freedom.  It will make finding a room for last minute jobs and busy holiday seasons so much easier.”

    BAM Studios is located in the heart of downtown Chicago. The company specializes in sound for film, broadcast TV and radio, web, video game and interactive projects with over 26 years of experience staffed by leading sound professionals.

    AD&Co. Launches Studio A; Davida Hall To Head New Venture As Sr. Director of Creative Content

    Female-founded and led creative marketing agency AD&Co. has opened Studio A. The new venture will serve as AD&Co.’s in-house social brand content division, focused on developing and producing digital programming for advertising, social media, and influencer marketing campaigns designed to reach today’s audiences on the most popular and pivotal platforms. Davida Hall has been named to head Studio A as sr. director of creative content. She shifts over from AD&Co. where she held the same title since December 2023. Hall’s affiliations prior to AD&Co. include PopSugar and Studio71.

    Amy Demas, founder and chief creative officer of AD&Co., said, “We understand content is king-—or queen—and that our clients need to engage their customer communities where they live. That inspired the logical expansion of AD&Co with Studio A, which is committed to producing only the most engaging and authentic brand stories.”

    Studio A will harness both AD&Co’s and Hall’s deep expertise in the lifestyle sector, as content creators and avid consumers.
