THE SPOT
"MotoRacer World Tour" introduces the game of the same name for Sony PlayStation. Set against a palette of orange and yellow hues, the :30 (with a :15 cutdown) opens on an electric graphic display with typography that reads, "Please pay attention. Applied motorcycle physics." A voiceover informs viewers, "We enhanced the realism … so much you can almost taste the asphalt." The spot then showcases footage from the video game and ends with the tag, "Hang on for dear life!" and a shot of two worn-out, steaming gloves rife with holes.
