Director Tiny Bullet, aka Tina Bull, has signed with Arts & Sciences for representation in the U.S. With a background in design, fine art, and photography, the U.K. native established herself as a highly sought-after motion and animation designer prior to launching her directing career.
Tiny's work includes her vibrant and humourously relatable launch campaign for secure payment experience GoCart which was recently honored by APA top 50 and won at the 2022 Kinsale Shark Awards. Her defiant and hilarious #Adpology which had over 6M views, was screened at Cannes for International Women's Day, smashing stereotypes and dismantling tropes in advertising targeted towards women. She has also directed an outrageous British TV spot for Lovehoney, a popular maker of sex toys.
Tiny’s first major commercial project, for Lenovo, earned The New York Times Gold Award, ranking among the “most watchable commercials,” and airing during the Olympic games. Other popular brands she has created spots for include McDonald's, British Airways, Walkers, Intel, 3mobile, LG, Kellogg’s, Dulux, BBC; and EBay, for which she received a Webby Award.
Tiny said, “I am committed to staying open to learning and expanding. I like to bring my multi-faceted creative background to my films, which makes for–in my opinion–beautifully composed visual pieces paired with emotionally evocative performances set within an engaging story. I have become more confident with my casting choices and love the opportunity to create unique and captivating characters. Mal [Ward]and the team at Arts & Sciences get that; they have a fantastic roster, and after meeting them, I immediately felt at home. I look forward to expanding my work with them in the US."
Ward, Arts & Sciences’s managing director and partner, said,“Tiny has an infectious spirit as a human being that shines through in everything she does. We were immediately drawn to her work which stands apart through her ability to combine smart, nuanced performances with visually striking imagery and loads of style all around.”
First-Time Feature Directors Make Major Splash At AFI Fest, Generate Oscar Buzz
Two first-time feature directors who are generating Oscar buzz this awards season were front and center this past weekend at AFI Fest in Hollywood. She achieved this feat--with the help of coach Jason Crutchfield (Brian Tyree Henry)--only to find that her victory at the Summer Games came with relatively little fanfare and no endorsement deals. So much for the hope that the historic accomplishment would be a ticket out of socioeconomic purgatory for Shields and her family. It seemed like yet another setback in a cycle of adversity throughout Shieldsโ life but she persevered, going on to win her second Gold Medal at the next Olympics and becoming a champion for gender equality and equitable pay for women in sports. Shields has served as a source of inspiration for woman athletes worldwide--as well as to the community of... Read More
