Andrea Gustafson has joined the creative department of Havas Worldwide New York as design director. She will work across the entire agency portfolio alongside Coral Garvey, head of art. Gustafson will report to group executive creative director/managing director Jason Musante.
Gustafson started her career working with renowned graphic designer David Carson and has worked with a range of talent from Axl Rose to Steve Stoute. In 2010, she was awarded the opportunity to design the Canadian Olympic team uniform and retail collection. As head of design at Johannes Leonardo, Gustafson developed an internal design department, oversaw all design direction while contributing creative and strategic leadership to clients including Adidas, Trident, Trip Advisor, Bacardi, Coca Cola, Sprite, Nike and Google. She’s won numerous awards including a Cannes Grand Prix in 2011 and several Cannes Lions for her work on the Google Re:Brief campaign in 2012.
Gustafson has also held lead creative positions at Jager Dipola & Kemp [JDK], Anomaly, Co:Collective, Mullen and Reebok. Other clients have included MoMA, Converse, Microsoft, Budweiser, The New York Yankees, Guns n Roses, and Burton Snowboards.

Music, audio post and sonic branding house Barking Owl has taken on exclusive representation of Oscar and Emmy-winning composer Kris Bowers for advertising and branded content.
Bowersโ recent film scores include The Wild Robot and Bob Marley: One Love, alongside acclaimed past works such as The Color Purple (2023), King Richard and Green Book. His contributions to television are equally impressive, with scores for hit series like Bridgerton, When They See Us, Dear White People, and his Daytime Emmy Award-winning score for The Snowy Day.
In addition to his work as a composer, Bowers is a visionary director. He recently took home the Academy Award for Best Documentary Short Subject for his directorial work on The Last Repair Shop. The emotionally touching short film spotlights four of the people responsible for repairing the musical instruments used by students in the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD). The Last Repair Shop reflects the positive influence that musical instruments have on the youngsters who play them, and the adults in the LAUSD free repair service who keep them working and in tune.
