International production house The Ambassadors has partnered with Final Cut, the editorial house which maintains bases of operation in London, Los Angeles and New York.
The arrangement with Final Cut will boost the number of top-drawer editors available to clients of The Ambassadors, including such talent as Rick Russell, David Webb, Struan Clay and Joe Guest. This is in addition to The Ambassadors’ in-house edit team of Erik Verhulst and Oscar Marmelstein.
David Webb, managing director of Final Cut, stated, “We look forward to collaborating on high-profile European and global projects; working with our clients in Amsterdam on their home turf and delivering truly brilliant work.”
Halbo van der Klaauw, managing director, The Ambassadors, added, “Everyone under The Ambassadors’ roof is committed to pushing the boundaries of what is possible, both technically and creatively, in the fields of edit, sound, VFX, design and animation and grading. The aim of this partnership is to really boost the level of edit brilliance we can offer, taking the number of world-class editors on our books from two to over 20.”
Final Cut’s recent notable credits include Guinness’ “Sapeurs,” AXE’s “Soulmates,” Lily Allen’s “Our Time” music video, Google’s “We’re All Storytellers,” and Lurpak’s “Adventure Awaits.”
