It is expected that the 17 Saatchi & Saatchi, New York, executives–a mix of creatives and account people–who worked on the General Mills account and resigned in the wake of the departure of Mike Burns, vice chairman of the agency, and the worldwide account director on the General Mills account, will join the Interpublic Group (IPG) of companies. Speculation is that the General Mills account will follow…. Chris Sekin has joined agency Square One, Dallas, as executive creative director. He formerly held the same position at ad shop Slingshot, Dallas….Foote, Cone & Belding, Chicago, has made several new hires. Bobbi Noffke and Elana Werts are joining the shop as senior production business managers; Lisa Ginsberg is also joining the production department, as a talent business manager. Additionally, Alex Zamiar has joined the agency as a junior art director….
