Cut+Run has added Adam Becht as sr. producer in its L.A. office.
Becht started as a post producer in NYC and then joined R/GA. There he produced digital branded content and post for global brands as well as oversaw the agency’s production of internal content. Becht has extensive credits producing broadcast and digital live action as well as post. He’s recently relocated to L.A.
Additionally, Cut+Run has promoted Brian Mulvey to production coordinator. Mulvey joined Cut+Run over a year ago and has grown into a key member of the production team. In addition to producing, he supports all aspects of production and has been an instrumental liaison to sales and marketing.
The Sundance Film Festival today (2/2) announced its final award for the 2025 edition: Come See Me in the Good Light in the Premieres category received the Festival Favorite Award. The honor was voted on by the audiences from all the new feature films presented at the 2025 Festival. Other award winners were previously announced at a ceremony at The Ray Theatre in Park City, Utah, on January 31 (for SHOOT's coverage, click here).
Kim Yutani, director of programming for the Sundance Film Festival, said, โThroughout the Festival we saw audiences moved by Andrea Gibsonโs and Megan Falleyโs journeys in Come See Me in the Good Light. Looking ahead to next year, Sundance Institute also disclosed today the dates for the 2026 Sundance Film Festival, taking place in person in Park City and Salt Lake City, Utah, from January 22โFebruary 1, 2026.
โThe past 11 days of the Festival have been a meaningful opportunity to connect as a community in support of independent storytelling,โ said Amanda Kelso, acting CEO, Sundance Institute. โWe look forward to being reunited with audiences, artists, industry, and press next January for another edition of the Festival.โ
