American Cinema Editors (ACE) announced nominations for the 67th Annual ACE Eddie Awards recognizing outstanding editing in 10 categories of film, television and documentaries. Winners will be revealed during ACE’s annual black-tie awards ceremony on Friday, January 27, 2017 in the International Ballroom of the Beverly Hilton Hotel and will be presided over by ACE President, Stephen Rivkin.
Up for Best Edited Dramatic Feature Film are: Joe Walker, ACE for Arrival; John Gilbert, ACE for Hacksaw Ridge; Jake Roberts for Hell or High Water; Jennifer Lame for Manchester by the Sea; and Nat Sanders and Joi McMillon for Moonlight.
Their nominated counterparts for Best Edited Feature Comedy are: Julian Clarke, ACE for Deadpool; Roderick Jaynes for Hail, Caesar!; Mark Livolsi, ACE for The Jungle Book; Tom Cross, ACE for La La Land; and Yorgos Mavropsaridis for The Lobster.
As previously announced, J.J. Abrams will receive the ACE Golden Eddie Filmmaker of the Year award. Two Career Achievement honorees will be announced later this week.
