THE SPOTS
Three ads spotlight thumbs, which have become more important because of text messaging. In "Gloves" (:30), a woman cuts the thumb sections of her gloves away. "Shaving" (:30) shows a man shearing the hair off his two digits. And "The Thumbmaster" (:60/:30) features a mock infomercial for a thumb exerciser.
