Annual New Directors Search and the Annual SHOOT New Directors Showcase Event
Regularly covering all types of emerging production and post talent in print and online, SHOOT also conducts an annual New Directors Search, from January to March. The search is open to directors who have been directing professionally less than three years. Entries are reviewed by SHOOT’s editors who compile the annual New Directors Showcase Reel that introducies the up-and-coming directors to the industry often for the first time. SHOOT brings industry segments together in a face-to-face setting every May at The SHOOT Directors/Producers Forum & New Directors Showcase Event at the DGA in NYC.
