THE SPOTS
A red dot stars in a pair of animated :30s spotlighting Kotex Long Super and Kotex Maxi pads. "End of a Sentence" opens on a white background, where large black letters spell out the ad’s title. The pesky dot (representing a woman’s period), then inserts itself into unwanted places (pro.m, g.ym, hot.date). Eventually the dot lands on the "a" in "jeans" and bounces to the "j." The "j" then kicks the dot forward and down, where it drops into the "o" of Kotex, before taking its final bounce forward into a new frame to form the second period in "Kotex fits. Period." In "Yo-Yo," a menacing dot repeatedly bounces up and down and is joined by other red periods, which fall and rise to uncover the letters K-O-T-E-X.
