After three years on the agency side, Sara Russo has joined New York-based Bang music+sound design as executive director. In the newly created position, Russo will assume management responsibilities from Bang founder/president Lyle Greenfield, and spearhead marketing efforts toward agencies outside of New York.
Russo had been an account executive at Lowe Lintas & Partners, New York, for the past two years. While there, she handled the GMC account, specifically working on the spots "Family Traits," "Break Out," "Snow" and "Overachievers" for the "Jimmy" campaign. Prior to Lowe Lintas, Russo held the same title at DeVito/Verdi, New York, for one year. She graduated in ’96 from Ohio’s University of Dayton with a B.A. in communications. Bang is repped nationwide by Lyle and Brian Jones, executive producer at the house.
