THE SPOTS
Two :30s promote Kia’s warranty programs by depicting humorous surprise situations, while noting that one’s car shouldn’t be one of them. In "Raft," a couple’s Sportage is accidentally filled with an inflatable jumbo raft, after the woman pulls its cord while searching for a camera to take a photo of a deer. In "Bucky," a dog comes running over a hill toward its female owner, covered with cake frosting and carrying a bride-and-groom cake topper in its mouth. The canine is followed by an angry wedding party, which is storming toward the pet and its owner. The woman puts the dog in the Sephia and runs around to the driver’s side, only to be locked out by Bucky, who’s angry at her for a recent trip to the vet.
