Producer MiShawn Williams has joined the Santa Monica office of bicoastal Bang. Williams will produce TV and radio spots, and represent Bang L.A. on the West Coast. She will also develop urban and pop music acts under Bangs bicoastal independent record label, notorious records.
Since joining Bang, Williams has produced Scratch Dance and Blah Blah, spots for the Connecticut Lottery directed by Annabel Jankel of Morton Jankel Zander, Los Angeles, via Cronin & Co., Glastonbury, Conn. Williams has also produced three spots for the What Do You Call Healthy? campaign for Texas health care provider Baptist Health System. The spots were directed by Marshall Vernet of bicoastal Bedford Falls out of The Thompson Agency, San Antonio. Williams has also assisted Bang composer/producer Christopher Joannou on spots for Mercedes, Porsche and Sprite.
Prior to joining Bang, Williams spent nine months as an assistant in MTVs original programming and series development department in Santa Monica. Before MTV, Williams served nine months as head of video production in Hollywood at PMP Records, a now defunct division of RCA Records.
