Postproduction house charlieuniformtango (CUT), Dallas, has promoted Michele Tongate to an executive producers position. She will share exec. producer duties with CUT president/exec. producer Lola Lott.
Tongate joined CUT when it opened in Dec. 95 and had been working as a post producer. Her new responsibilities will include overseeing all aspects of the companys editorial, music and audio projects.
I feel very fortunate to have grown with the company since its inception, said Tongate. Im looking forward to the continued development and growth of charlieuniformtango, and the creative projects were part of on a local and national level.
In 90, Tongate graduated from The American University in Washington, D.C., with a degree in international relations. Following graduation, she moved to Los Angeles, where she spent two years working in production for Paramount Studios Hard Copy. Following this, she moved into freelance production and relocated to Dallas in 94 to continue her career.
Founded in 95 by Lott and VP/senior editor Jack Waldrip, CUT also features editor/composer Mark Boardman, editor Jon Price, graphics editor David Slack, visual effects artist Dave Laird, post producer Mary Alice Butler, postproduction coordinator Missey Dobbs and audio engineer Russell Smith.
