Jon Francis Films, San Francisco, has named Griff Marshall its executive producer. Marshall has been with the company for many years, serving in varied capacities, most recently as a producer and production estimator. As exec. producer, he succeeds five-year company veteran Linda Emery who plans to return to freelance agency producing.
Director Francis comes off of recent campaigns for Sprint PCS via Publicis & Hal Riney, San Francisco, Cheetos via BBDO New York, State Farm for DDB Needham Chicago, Pillsbury out of Foote, Cone & Belding, San Francisco, and Burger King for Ammirati Puris Lintas, New York.
Jon Francis Films continues to be repped by Michael Kulp and Associates on the East Coast and in the Midwest, and Saarinen/Korsan on the West Coast.

The Official Competition jury said: “Our jury was incredibly moved by Adam Elliot’s Memoir of a Snail, which is a singular achievement in filmmaking.
