Stella Artois celebrates the holidays in this spot animated by mixed media and animation studio LOBO for Crispin Porter + Bogusky Brazil, accompanied by the song “Dream A Little Dream of Me.” The campaign features various animated characters from around the world getting ready for the holiday. As the spot progresses, we see a gold star traveling over the town with a view of different homes where the inhabitants are engaged in various activities such as painting, cooking or dreaming out the window. In the end, the characters are able to enjoy time with friends and family with a Stella Artois in hand.
The ad reflects LOBO’s blend of animation styles and techniques, including a track record spanning 2D animation, stop motion, 3D, and visual effects, interwoven to great effect for brand clients. The focal point here is the gold star with various scenes in the city, where the pictures move to draw the eye towards the star as one woman captures it and sends it into the sky.

Blink, a provider of affordable smart home security, has launched an advertising campaign which features a light-hearted slice-of-life portrait of Maggie, a busy, cost-conscious mother who values more--more time with her loved ones, and more bang for her buck. The campaign was created by Merman and directed by Eva Michon.
Acting as creative agency and production company, Merman tapped into its deep well of creative talent, including screenwriters and copywriters as well as directors and producers to ideate for the brand. Blink was presented with a half-dozen creative ideas for the campaign. The winning concept was created by Mermanโs managing partner Kira Carstensen and in-house creative director, Jack Taylor Cox.
