Lenny Davidowitz and Jessica Rosa have joined the editorial staff of HBO Studio Productions (HSP), New York.
In his 25 years in the business, Davidowitz has worked in editing, graphics, special effects and postproduction supervision for commercials, feature segments, documentaries, sports and entertainment programming and music videos. In ’83 he founded Empire Video, a postproduction facility which he closed last June. He then had a stint at New York-based PrinczCo Productions where, as director of special projects, he did editing, compositing, CG and visual effects work (SHOOT, 9/3/99, p. 7). Davidowitz’s clients have included Diet Coke, AT&T, Ford, Burger King, Lancôme and Revlon.
Rosa, an Avid and Smoke editor, is moving to the U.S. from her native Puerto Rico, where she started her career as a freelance editor; she worked on commercials for Anheuser-Busch, Radio Shack, McDonald’s, Procter & Gamble and Bacardi. She collaborated as a creative partner/editor for a number of agencies targeting the Latin American market in the U.S. and South America, on campaigns for Budweiser, 7-Up and Pizza Hut. She has also cut music videos, corporate films, documentaries and entertainment programs.
"Lenny and Jessica bring wide-ranging creativity and technical experience that complements the expertise of the HSP editorial team," said Dominic Ambrosio, director of postproduction at HSP."
HSP is repped by New York-based Judy Glassman.
