THE SPOTS
Three :30s highlight The Industry Standard’s tagline: "Read it. Learn from it. Don’t let it fall into the wrong hands." "Men’s Room" shows a man sitting on a toilet in a public restroom, reading his Industry Standard. He hears footsteps and winds up eating the magazine, page by page. In "Elevator," a gentleman in a lift stays out of security camera range, even going so far as to spray paint the lens black, as he peruses his Industry Standard. "Cafeteria" features two men exchanging wacky question and answer catch phrases ("Does your wife sleep in the nude?" "Actually she prefers flannel."), to make certain that their copy of The Industry Standard stays between them.
