The VFX & Post Talent Agency, the European venture launched last year by industry vet Harriet Donington, has added six artisans to its roster: VFX supervisors Stephen Coren (Discovery of Witches, season 2, Bad Wolf/Sky) and James Mac (Ted Lasso, Apple TV+ /Warner Bros, as on-set supervisor) and VFX producers Kayley Edwards (Rocketman, Paramount Pictures), Lucinda Keeler (The First Ladies, Lionsgate/Showtime), Jakub Chilczuk (The Wheel of Time, Amazon/Sony Pictures TV) and Gin Godden (Britannia, season 3, Sky). Donington said the infusion of talent into the boutique agency is designed to help meet demand in the TV and film marketplace as economic recovery from the pandemic begins….
Riedel Communications has appointed Trip Wootten as regional sales manager for the U.S. Southeast. Reporting to Rich Zabel, Riedel’s VP of sales for the Americas, Wootten will lead direct and channel sales for a large and rapidly growing market that includes Florida, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, and North Carolina. With deep expertise in the Southeast region, Wootten brings over a decade of sales, sales support, and sales engineering experience to his new position at Riedel. Most recently, he oversaw a large Southeastern sales territory as regional account manager for Grass Valley, a role he also previously filled for Telestream. Prior to joining Telestream, Wootten served for more than seven years at Grass Valley in account management, sales management, sales support, and inside sales positions. He also previously worked in inside sales for the WH Platts Company and formerly served as an IT support engineer for North Point Community Church.
