Production house Spindle has added filmmaker, photographer and installation artist Patrick Fileti to its directorial roster for representation in the U.K. and Netherlands. His affinity for creating purposeful and emotionally charged work is exemplified in his recent film Inferno which came up a winner at the Palm Springs International Shortfest. Fileti has Cannes, Clio, One Show, Effie, ACS, and Spike winning commercials to his credit. Fileti’s creative success also extends artistically, with work exhibited at the Venice International Biennale. He co-founded art collective Archrival, and creates unique installation works for exhibitions. He is repped in the U.S. market by division 7@SMUGGLER, in Canada by Radke, Spain and Portugal by Caviar, Australia and New Zealand by Thirteen & Co., and in Germany by Candy….
Thinkingbox has acquired AntiSocial Solutions, a social media strategy and production shop. AntiSocial will continue to operate under that name but work cross-functionally with the Thinkingbox teams in Vancouver, Toronto, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, and New York City. AntiSocial co-founder and CEO Daryl Louie will transition into the role of head of strategy, and co-founder and COO Alex Chan will be appointed head of production, continuing to lead the day-to-day operations at AntiSocial. Amir Sahba will lead the two companies as CEO of Thinkingbox. AntiSocial sets itself apart from competitors by focusing heavily on storytelling, user journey, and brand voice through social media platforms. AntiSocial has worked with leading brands such as Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, Red Bull, Subway Restaurants, Oakwyn Realty Ltd., Moe’s Home Collection, Western Family, OpenTable, Kernels Popcorn and the Vancouver Canucks.
