R/GA has promoted Julie Benevides from senior content producer to executive content producer in the agency’s Chicago office. In her new role, Benevides will partner with the Chicago office’s business and creative leadership, and tap into the R/GA Studio’s network of makers and storytellers to bring the best solution to the right channel across all platforms and media.
Since joining R/GA in 2014, Benevides has built the Chicago content production team from the ground up and has bridged the local capability and knowledge-sharing with other R/GA U.S.-based offices. With 15 years of production experience, Benevides’ diverse background ranges from traditional broadcast to interactive video games and high-fidelity VFX work. This knowledge gives her the foundation to address new and interesting production challenges. Her work has been recognized by Cannes Lions and Webbys. She was also selected to serve as a 2019 AICP juror.
“Julie is a great leader with a diverse background in making, a core attribute we look for in R/GA Studio producers. Her promotion is well deserved and a symbol of R/GA’s commitment to putting our clients and the work we make for them at the front of all our thinking,” noted Vin Farrell, EVP, global head of R/GA Studios.
Charles Chung, executive production director of R/GA Chicago, said of Benevides, “Her career-long drive to champion and model female leadership in the workplace and within the Chicago community, and her ability to push teams to produce transformative client work is unparalleled.”
