Butler, Shine, Stern & Partners (BSSP) has hired Vince Genovese as executive director of integrated production, expanding the agency's content creation and production capabilities. Genovese had worked with BSSP on numerous campaigns for MINI, Raise the River, and others as co-owner of production company Republic Content.
“Vince has helped create amazing commercials and terrific content over the years, and we’re fortunate to bring him in-house to oversee the delivery of cohesive solutions across all media for our clients,” said John Butler, chief creative officer at BSSP. “His experience owning his own production company is critical to the agency as we expand our own Cleaver editorial into areas of video and postproduction to make our clients’ content stand out.”
After selling his stake in Republic several years ago, Genovese began working as a freelance producer across the country. In addition, he has served as director of broadcast production at McCann Worldgroup SF, and over the years has worked at 72andSunny, Goodby Silverstein, DDB, FCB and Chiat/Day, among others.

The Many Hires Jeremiah Wassom As Group Creative Director
Independent agency The Many has added Jeremiah Wassom as group creative director.
Wassom most recently worked a decade at Deutsch LA where, as SVP/creative director, he led the Taco Bell account and won new business for the agency. His agency past also includes AKQA and TBWAChiatDay. His creative work has touched the QSR, video games, automotive, fashion, and culture brand sectors. He also served eight years with the United States Marine Corps.
