Integrated production company Tool of North America has promoted Oliver Fuselier to the role of managing partner, live action, from managing director, live action. In his new role, Fuselier will focus on the global expansion of the company, which recently announced the opening of an office in France, as he continues to curate and support Tool’s roster of live-action directors. Working alongside Dustin Callif, managing partner, digital, Fuselier has helped drive both the company’s ongoing new business success and growth from existing clients. Since joining Tool in 2011, Fuselier has cultivated a directorial roster which includes such recent signings as: Phillip Montgomery, who has worked with brands like Jack Daniels, GE and Walmart; Leigh Marling, who has worked with brands like Nissan, Lego and Miller Lite; and Jeff and Jackie Schaffer, creators of FX’s comedy The League. Fuselier has overseen a steady stream of live-action and interactive projects including the National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s campaign from Wieden+Kennedy Portland, “Together We Are Stronger,” directed by Tool’s John X. Carey, which is aimed at bringing people together to overcome the challenges of MS. Additionally, Fuselier’s acclaimed integrated activations include “Drivers Seat,” a VR-driven project for Infiniti, and work for brands such as Land Rover, Chrome, Spotify, Microsoft, Go Daddy, Under Armour, MINI and Airbnb’s first ever broadcast campaign. Fuselier is also responsible for spearheading Tool’s first independent feature film, NORTH. He currently sits on the West board of the AICP and has won awards including Emmys, Webbys, CLIOs, VMAs, the AICP Next Award, and awards from the FWA and SXSW.
San Francisco based creative agency Eleven has hired Orit Peleg as director of brand planning. Peleg will work across the agencies accounts with a particular focus on Dignity Health and new business. Prior to Eleven, Peleg was group planning director at Venables Bell & Partners in San Francisco. Before that, she held roles at TBWAChiatDay and Ogilvy. Peleg has lived on three continents and has extensive experience working on global brands, such as Audi, Johnson & Johnson, Pepsi, Duracell, and Milka.
