Rattling Stick has signed multi-award-winning directing collective Traktor for representation in the U.S. and U.K. The Los Angeles-based Scandinavian directors have twice been named the most awarded commercial directors in the world by the Gunn Report.
Formerly with production house Partizan, Traktor is behind assorted critically acclaimed music videos and commercials, including hits like Basement Jaxx’s “Where’s your Head At” up to recent work such as Heineken’s “The City,” Three’s “Sing it Kitty,” and the “Booking.com” series of comedy spots.
Traktor consists of five directors–Mats Lindberg, Sam Larsson, Pontus Lowenhielm, Patrik von Krusenstjerna, and Ole Sander–and two producers, Richard Ulfvengren and Rani Melendez.
Traktor won two Grand Prix honors at Cannes–for Diesel Jeans and Fox Sports. The directors have won a total of 23 Lions at Cannes, been nominated for a Grammy and Emmy-nominated five times. In 2006, Traktor’s FedEx “Sticks” spot for BBDO New York won the primetime Emmy, tying with Hallmark’s “Required Reading” (which was directed by David Harner via Leo Burnett). In “Sticks,” a caveman was fired for not using FedEx.
Besides the Basement Jaxx clip, Traktor has also directed such notable music videos as Fatboy Slim’s “Ya Mama” and The Prodigy’s “Baby’s Got A Temper.”
