DDB California has hired Jon Drawbaugh as head of production. He will report to Todd Grantham, CEO of DDB California.
Drawbaugh joins DDB from Mullen LA, where he served as sr. VP, director of integrated production. During this time, he led all aspects of production from TV spots to digital to experiential; among the highlights were the launch of the Acura TLX, the largest launch in the brand’s history, and winning the Patron tequila account. Before that, Drawbaugh worked at FCB West and led production for a range of clients including Dockers and SimCity. He also produced a documentary film for Kikkoman.
Prior to FCB West, Drawbaugh spent over seven years at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners as a producer on Chevrolet, Sprint, Hewlett-Packard, Dickies, Comcast, Cheetos, Denny’s, eBay, Starbucks, Subway, Kayak.com, and AIDES. Drawbaugh was a freelance producer in San Francisco on projects for Microsoft, Hannspree, and Picture People. He started in New York City as a staff producer with MVBMS on Philips Electronics, Subway, Schering-Plough and Partnership for a Drug Free America.
Drawbaugh’s work has received recognition from the One Show, FWA and Communication Arts. He has served as a judge for the AICP Show.
