Commercial and music video director Grady Hall, formerly of Motion Theory, has joined Partizan for worldwide representation. Hall’s work reaches across brand categories and creative genres, including commercial efforts for Budweiser, EA Sports, Microsoft and Toyota, and music videos for artists including Katy Perry, Capital Cities, and Beck. Additionally, he’s written for multiple television series, and directed, produced, and helped launch Sam Raimi’s hit cable series Spartacus: Blood & Sand.
Hall’s most recent work includes a magical Target fashion spot, a design-and-documentary Visa campaign and installation, and a Lexus holiday campaign launching this week.
Previously, as one of the founding directors of the Motion Theory directing team, Hall helped to originate the studio’s art-in-motion style. He then made his mark as a solo director, with his work garnering a Grammy nomination, winning awards from the VMAs, Clios, AICP, and D&AD–while tallying nearly a billion YouTube hits in the process.
Sheila Stepanek, Partizan U.S. CEO/executive producer, described Hall as being “one of a very small handful of directors with a mastery of both character-driven narrative and highly original visual storytelling.”
