The Producers Guild of America (PGA) has unveiled the 2025 Documentary Motion Picture nominees that will advance to the final round of voting for the 36th Annual Producers Guild Awards. Winners will be announced on Saturday, February 8 at the Fairmont Century Plaza.
The films nominated for Outstanding Producer of Documentary Motion Pictures are:

Mountain Queen: The Summits of Lhakpa Sherpa
Porcelain War
Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story
We Will Dance Again

Last year, producers Lauren Domino, Matthew Heineman and Joedan Okun were honored with the award for Outstanding Producer of Documentary Motion Picture for American Symphony, which intimately followed award-winning musician Jon Batisteโs journey in composing a symphony while his wife underwent cancer treatment.
Nominees for Sports, Childrenโs and Short Form Television Programs will be announced this Friday, December 13. The nominees for Theatrical Motion Pictures, Animated Theatrical Motion Pictures, Television Series/Specials, and Televised/Streamed Motion Pictures will be announced on Friday, January 10.
The Producers Guild Awards honors excellence in motion picture, television and emerging media productions, as well as the most notable names in the industry shaping the producing profession. Honorees this year include Chris Meledandri (David O. Selznick Achievement Award) and Dana Walden (Milestone Award).
The 2025 Producers Guild Awards Event Chairs are Mike Farah and Joe Farrell. The 2025 Producers Guild Awards are produced by Anchor Street Collective and written by Jody Lambert, Lauren Cortizo and Matt Oberg for the Producers Guild of America. Branden Chapman is executive producer, and Carleen Cappelletti is co-executive producer.
