Creative studio RASCAL recently hired Ellie Thwaites as sr. producer.
Thwaitesโ career has seen her produce at The Mill and most recently No.8, working with production houses, agencies such as BBH, MAL, AMV, Ogilvy, S&S, and Grey, with high-profile brands like Huawei, IBM, Dairy Queen, and Paramount+.
A recent career highlight for Thwaites was collaborating on a series of 3D floral graphics for the 2024 British Arrows Awards. Working around pipeline and hardware limitations, the team came together to capture the essence of the event, embodying the spirit of creative cooperation and problem solving.
Thwaites commented, โJoining RASCAL feels like the perfect next step for me. I love how the team pushes creative boundaries not just in VFX, but also in our offerings for grade, audio and music. Itโs all about going the extra mile across the board. Iโm excited to jump in, work with a super talented crew and take on new challenges. This year, Iโm really looking forward to delivering projects that donโt just meet, but totally go beyond what our clients are expecting, helping to build RASCALโs reputation as a creative powerhouse.โ
James Beck, head of production at RASCAL, added, โIn just three short months, Ellie has proven (unsurprisingly) to be a vital part of our London production team. Sheโs jumped straight in with the most complex projects and wrangled innovative solutions to challenges that have elevated the quality of our work. Ellie demonstrates the kind of talent we strive to nurture here at RASCAL, with her adaptability, hunger for learning and ability to think creatively. We are always looking for individuals who arenโt just content with maintaining the status quo but are excited to innovate and lead, just as Ellie has done recently. Weโre continuously evolving to meet the demands of an ever-changing industry here at RASCAL and Iโm excited to have Ellie here as an integral part of that journey.โ
