Laundry Design, LLC–a production company and animation studio with offices in L.A., San Francisco and NYC–has signed live-action director Erin Doyle Cooper for her first U.S. commercial representation. With a keen eye for docu-style content as well as dark comedy, Doyle Cooper seamlessly blends her roots as a classically trained actor and improv comedian with years of production and agency experience.
Before transitioning to directing full-time, Doyle Cooper was VaynerMedia’s first CD, and spent two years in-house at Pepsi, where she and a partner led advertising creative for Lady Gaga’s Halftime Show and the Super Bowl spot starring Cindy Crawford.
“I’ve been following Laundry for a long time as both a creative director and freelance commercial director, and am thrilled to have joined a roster that shares my values of parity, kindness, and creativity as a vehicle for creating impactful live-action work for brands,” said Doyle Cooper.
James Sweigert, CEO/managing director of Laundry, shared, “Erin is a welcome addition to the Laundry roster of directors because we have been seeing more requests for more social style content and requests for innovative, fresh documentary vision and she nails them both.”
PJ Richardson, Laundry ECD and co-founder, said of Doyle Cooper, “Not only is her creativity and craft exquisite, but the variety of imagination she brings to every spot she directs is so exciting, and so Laundry.”
