Global creative agency Sid Lee has added two key members to its American offices–Bruno Luglio who joins as executive creative director and Melissa Cabral as VP, head of strategy. The two will join the U.S. leadership team led by Tom Ramsden, recently appointed CEO USA.
Luglio is a winner of more than 100 international awards. Leading the brand creative for shoe, clothing and accessory company Vans across North, Central and South America for the past year allowed him to collaborate with a wide range of talent. From his experience working internationally, he brings the client perspective, as well as perspectives learned from various cultures to the table. As the newest ECD, he will lead creative projects for future and existing clients, and will be working closely with the Sid Lee’s strategy and account departments to deliver great work.
Cabral has been in the game for a decade now. Expert in strategic planning from the ground up, she’s always been on the agency side and is known for her excellent skills. Stepping in as the strategic leader in the U.S., she will be working with a multidisciplinary team to hone in on opportunities for innovative creative work and effective business results for clients.
The hiring of Luglio and Cabral add to Sid Lee’s recent momentum in the U.S. market. The team is building new relationships with clients. Annie Ly-Quan, newly promoted as the head of growth & client partnerships, and Tara Charf, VP, finance, complete the agency’s executive team in the U.S. All together, they are leading the business to ensure the growth of the agency’s talent as well as client business.
