DAVID Miami has promoted Joana Plautz and Mariana D’Aprile to agency leadership roles of creative director and head of account, respectively. Both have been with the agency for six years with Plautz upped from associate creative director and D’Aprile from group account director.
With over 20 years working for this market, Plautz has had previous experience at Mullen Lowe São Paulo and Wunderman Thompson Lisbon, where she spent seven years. Brands such as Burger King, Corona, Danone, Ford, Halls, Netflix, and Dove are among those she has worked with. Some of the most significant projects in her career include Corona Sunbrew and Burger King Impossible Combo, campaigns that have won numerous awards, such as Cannes Lions and One Show recognition.
D’Aprile, known affectionately at Mari, has more than 20 years of global, local, and regional experience, Mari has also worked for agencies such as Ogilvy, BBH, and TBWA. During her time at DAVID Miami, Mari has had the opportunity to lead the account for important projects, including two Super Bowl campaigns for clients like Devour and Turkish Airlines. She has also worked with clients such as Heinz, Coca-Cola, Johnnie Walker, Motorola, Sour Patch Kids, Halls, and Activia.
