The tour returns to Dallas at the Perot Museum and makes its first stop in Mexico with a full day event presented by Mexicoโs National Chamber of the Film Industry
The 2023 AICP Awards tour is making two stops this week, with events in Dallas and, for the first time, Mexico City. Both events will be taking place on Thursday, November 2, 2023. Full details for each event, as well as ticket information, can be found on the AICP website here.
Each will feature the winners from AICP’s three competitions – The AICP Post Awards, the AICP Next Awards, and the AICP Show: The Art & Technique of the Commercial.
The Dallas event, presented and hosted by the AICP Southwest Chapter, will be held at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science. Doors open at 6:45 pm, and the Awards Program begins at 7.30, followed by a reception starting at 8.30. Tickets can be purchased here. The Perot Museum is located at 2201 N Field Street in Dallas.
Speakers at the Dallas event include Laura Busino, Head of Production at McGarrah Jessee; Tammy Booth Schilling, Creative Director, D3 Frito Lay; and Christopher Smith, Co-Founder & Chief Creative Officer, Plot Twist Creativity.
In Mexico City, the AICP Awards will be the centerpiece of a day-long event focused on advertising creativity, taking place at Museo de Antropologรญa e Historia, and being presented by Mexico’s National Chamber of the Film Industry (CANACINE). Founded in 1942, Canacine represents the film and audiovisual industry in Mexico. Avelino Rodrรญguez, President of CANACINE, Founding Partner/CEO of The LIFT and a 2023 AICP Awards Show Curator, was instrumental in bringing the event to Mexico City. The event kicks off at 2:30 pm with a Fireside Chat on Craft & Creativity. Moderated by Genie Gurnani, AICP Next Awards Influencer Jury President and Executive Drag Queen + Operation Partner, Mash Brands, its panel includes Director Santiago Fabregas; Creative Director Marybeth Ledesma; Cinematographer / Director Flavia Martinez; Copywriter, Head of Creativity, TBWA Mexico, Diego Munoz; and Director Sylvie Weber.

Art Directors Club of Europe Announces Finalists For ADCE Awards 2024
The Art Directors Club of Europe (ADCE)ย has announced theย finalistsย for theย 33rd ADCE Awards, highlighting top creative talent from 22 countries. Anย international juryย gathered in Barcelona on October 29th and 30th to evaluate the best work of this year in European design and advertising, ultimately selecting the 2024 finalists entries. Winners of the Gold Awards, along with Special Awards and the Grand Prix, will be unveiled at the ADCE Awards Gala Ceremony on November 22nd during theย ADCE Festival, while Silver, Bronze, and Shortlisted entries will be published immediately following the Gala on theย ADCE website.
