Framestore–the Academy-Award-winning creative company known for its groundbreaking innovations in immersive experiences, including Max’s award-winning Carrie’s Closet, SUMMIT One Vanderbilt’s observation deck and Cadillac’s “Art of You” interactive experience, has added Warren Drones as lead technical artist and Daria Adamitskaya as lead environment artist to its growing immersive ensemble. Drones joins the New York team and Adamitskaya the London team.
Drones brings over a decade of industry expertise spanning virtual production, AR, product management and game development. His portfolio includes multiple Emmy award-winning projects, such as the NFL Super Bowl AR package, and his role in developing Avalanche Motion Graphics tools for Unreal Engine. As a former product manager at Epic Games, specializing in Esports and media entertainment, Drones has demonstrated his visionary leadership and collaborative spirit, working with industry giants like Fortnite, Rocket League, ESPN, Fox and Disney.
Adamitskaya brings a wealth of experience garnered during her nine-year tenure at Creative Assembly where she contributed to notable titles like the Total War series, including three chapters of Warhammer, and historical games like Three Kingdoms. Currently crafting environmental scenes with Unreal Engine 5.3 on unannounced projects, Adamitskaya is focussed on crafting top of the line immersive experiences which combine the type of storytelling and atmosphere that captivated her as a child.
