Bicoastal Aero Film has named Sara Eolin as executive producer for its New York office. Eolin, who hails from the advertising agency side of the business, handles an Aero roster that includes directors Klaus Obermeyer, Ken Arlidge, James Mangold, Austin Smithard, Jason Farrand, Sam O’Hare, Gary McKendry, Nelson McCormick, and Indrani. She had previously been serving as a hands-on producer/sales rep for Aero. Her agency pedigree spans such New York shops as Grey, Merkley+Partners, and Lowe. At the latter, she worked on the GMC and Saab accounts before being promoted to head of integrated production…..Arsenal FX, a Santa Monica-based special effects boutique founded and owned by VFX artist Mark Leiss, has added designers/directors Nathan Boldman and Lauren Mayer-Beug. The pair recently completed projects for Taxicab Confessions and MasterCard, along with numerous music videos. Their other credits include projects for HP, Red Bull, the 2010 Winter Olympics, Fox Sports and the opening of 24. Prior to joining Arsenal FX, Boldman and Mayer-Beug were partnered in motion graphics house De Motu. Boldman and Mayer-Beug have done work spanning several media formats, including television, cinema, installations, and projections. Director Cassandra Brooksbank Joins Monument Content For Spots and Branded Content
Monument Content has signed director Cassandra “Cassie” Brooksbank for U.S. representation spanning commercials and branded content. She brings to her directing and storytelling the experience and skills of a writer, conceptual artist, editor and visual effects artist.
Her body of work as a director includes Pepsi’s “Selfie” featuring Lionel Messi amid a flurry of fans, Barclays madcap women’s Soccer League spot where she collaborated closely with the agency to develop the creative, ultimately winning the Grand Jury Prize at the Sports Industry Awards, and a grass-roots campaign for Fellow Coffee. The latter just didn’t brew buzz; it helped raise $1.2 million on Kickstarter.
Prior to joining Monument Content, Brooksbank had been repped in the U.S. for commercials by production house Hey Wonderful.
On the long-form front, she is repped by CAA for film and television. And on the horizon is her debut feature, My Masterpiece, produced by Sylvester Stallone’s Balboa Productions and backed by Amazon.
