1) Content is king! Not just linear broadcast, video is everywhere – Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Snapchat and Vine, and it’s increasingly all about making an event out of the creative strategy, commercial, trailer, or promo. Businesses are accelerating their demand for and use of films and content. That’s the good news for creative and diversified companies like Alkemy X.
2) Alkemy X continues to leverage our existing (and new) directors, writers, designers, vfx and postproduction disciplines. We’re set up to create a lot of different content for multiple platforms. Today’s social marketing campaigns, integrated/branded initiatives, and longer format projects are still about storytelling — but in newer and more distinct ways that require strategic creative content. We pride ourselves on being skilled in using the latest knowledge about entertainment, news and the world to help us develop experiences that add value to user engagement – and this is beyond being able to shoot and edit well. We consider our creative development team an important part of what we offer to our clients.
3) In addition to what I have stated in my answer to the prior question, I would say we are proud of not staying in the lanes. We’re exploring more creative options in a time of tightening schedules and challenging budgets and we are doing it very well and having fun while doing so. Alkemy X has a business model flexible enough to tackle what’s happening today, while looking to the future, and, more importantly, not clinging to the past. We are a source of creative and efficient solutions, but we never want to stop thinking of the best, most innovative, and coolest way to get there, which makes us a great collaborative partner.
4) Wearable’s and VR creative content will increase. Samsung, Oculus, Facebook 360, Google Cardboard are growing in adoption and are thirsty for good creative. The demo days for this type of experience is gone, our audience is born with the sophisticated knowledge and experience so there is no ‘wow’ or novelty phase. Alkemy X, being multi disciplined, is already developing creative that seamlessly threads the user experience across all mediums.
