Katelina ‘Gata’ Eccleston is the executive producer/host and historian behind the critically acclaimed platform Reggaeton Con La Gata, “whose pioneering work continues to accurately contextualize the colonial influence that has sought to suppress the founding roots and socio-political narratives that created Reggaeton,” as described by Harper’s Bazaar. As an executive producer and host of Panamanian-Jamaican descent, her work has appeared in Rolling Stone, The LA Times, Telemundo, Univision, Harper's Bazaar, Huffington Post, Spotify, Apple, and so many more. Gata’s Spring Perreo 101 Academic Tour has brought the rich historical podcast to several top Universities including Harvard, Stanford, NYU, Dartmouth and more to dissect the complex nuances explored in Season 1.
