Film production and motion graphics studio Dress Code has signed director Antonio Santos for representation in the U.S. and Canada.
Director and published photographer Santos was born and raised in rural Virginia, before relocating to New York in 2008 to uncover and challenge his artistic view of the world. In 2011, Santos collaborated with a close friend to create and manage a production company and creative agency based in Brooklyn, working as a creative director for over six years directly involved in all facets of production.
After gaining extensive production experience, Santos realized his true passion was photography and directing. Among his notable credits are the “PartyHardMoms” spots which he co-directed with Phil Pinto for Hefty.
As part of the Dress Code roster, Santos will continue to work on developing some personal film projects, in addition to working on commercial projects with the Dress Code production team.
Santos said, “I’m so excited to join the Dress Code family, their refreshing approach to production, their honesty, professionalism and kindness appealed to me on all levels–as well as their amazing work. I can’t wait to get started.”
Brad Edelstein, executive producer at New York-based Dress Code, added, “We’ve been on the lookout for directors like Antonio who are pushing the craft of story and bringing visual artistry to filmmaking. He brings a style to our roster that’s slightly different and new, yet his work feels right at home. Outside of his creativity, Antonio’s personality is magnetic, you always want a director who sets a collaborative tone from the initial creative call and can shepherd that spirit through to wrap. Antonio brings that excitement which creative teams, crews and talent instantly gel with.”
